Fire Marshal Training

This course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to take on fire marshal or fire warden responsibilities in the workplace. It is designed to help organisations meet legal requirements and maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Who is the course for?

  • Anyone who would like to take on the role of a fire warden or fire marshal within their company.

  •  

  • ​Every candidate attending this course must be sixteen year or over.

  •  

  • This  course is suitable for:

  • Anyone who has a role overseeing fire safety checks

  • Anyone who has a role running fire drills

  • Managers or supervisors who oversee a department

  • Anyone who may need to use a fire extinguisher

  • Anyone who would like to act as a fire Marshall or Fire Warden

Course Content:

The course covers moral, legal and financial responsibilities regarding fire safety management for your business.

 

It also covers the various safety checks and procedures which need to be in place in order to protect you and your employees.

 

This is followed by the roles and responsibilities of the Fire Marshal and, if required, covers practical training on the use of fire extinguishers.

  • The financial and moral reasons for managing fire safety

  • Understanding of Legislation

  • Employer and employee Responsibilities

  • Principles of Combustion, fire growth and fire spread

  • Fire Prevention

  • Detection and Warning systems

  • Means of Escape in case of fire

  • Types of Fire-Fighting equipment

  • Role of a Fire Warden

What does this course Cost?

  • This half-day course can be run at your own business premises. All that is required is a room.​

  • The maximum number of candidates on each course is 12 at a cost of £750 which includes all tuition, materials and certificates. 

  • If you would like us to cover the practical training in fire extinguisher use, and you have old out-of-date extinguishers on site that we can use, then we will add this training on at no extra cost. 

  • If you would like us to cover the practical training in fire extinguisher use, but you have no out-of-date extinguishers on site that we can use, then this training will cost an extra £150 to source the extinguishers for you. 

  • ​This course can also be delivered remotely via video call which would costs £550 for up to 12 candidates
